Grant Leary '26 made it past the local qualifier on May 6, 2024 at Brentwood Country Club shooting a cool 71 (-1), and ended up in a 3-way tie for 2 spots in the final qualifier at Lake Merced Country Club.  Grant also beat an LMU alum who just turned pro to secure the last spot in the final qualifier allowing him to move on to Lake Merced Country Club on June 3.  Playing 36 holes in a single day, he shot 73 (+1) in both rounds.  He hit a 31 (-5) on the front 9 holes of the second 18 and that was the lowest 9-hole score of the afternoon.
