The team scrimmaged in November 2024 to get a sense of the competition.

Led by 4-year competitor and this year’s team captain Avery Davis, the 6-member competition team and 8 alternates studied all winter for competition events in Speech, Interview, and Essay, as well as seven multiple-choice tests: Art, Economics, Literature, Mathematics, Music, Science, and Social Science.

The competition culminated in the Super Quiz – a public event in which Crespi competed with dozens of schools from around the Southland.

Crespi Academic Decathlon won first place in Division IV of the 2025 Southern California Private Schools Academic Decathlon.
