While funds available for assistance are limited, every attempt is made to meet our families’ financial needs each year. Please note that all financial assistance awards are for one year only and a new application must be completed each school year. Schools will compete against each other to claim the coveted Regatta Trophy! Each school can enter multiple teams. These teams must be made up of 3-6 students. Teams will build mini boats no larger than 18”x18”x18”. Pre-Approved building materials: Rubber Bands Wood materials Popsicle Sticks Liquid Floatant 1 Piece of Styrofoam Optional: Sail made of cloth or fabric only No plastic No motors or motorized fans Your school logo must be visible on the boat.
